On the 1 March the Year 7 girls football team competed in the Under 13's tournament final, narrowly losing by 1 goal to nil. Their amazing effort and determination brought about a place in the final for this group of girls a year below the age group maximum.

Sue Lindley said 'Throughout the year our Year 7 and Year 8 girls have trained together and played in two tournaments. The Year 7 girls have been runners up against Year 8 girls in both tournaments with great teamwork, skill and determination from our players.'
