MP hears of school's ambitious plans
Beverley and Holderness MP Graham Stuart has met the new head teacher of Holderness Academy to discuss his “ambitious” plans to raise standards in the school over the coming years.
During his tour of the school, Mr Stuart spoke to Neal Holder about the steps that he and his staff were taking to give their pupils the best possible education by living out their school’s values: aspiration, resilience, kindness and respect.
The school has been through a tumultuous period over recent years with multiple head teachers. Mr Stuart said he was supportive of Mr Holder’s mission to provide stability to the school community and he looked forward to seeing its next Ofsted report, reflecting the hard work of everyone at the school.
