On Friday 21 June the Sixth Form opened its doors to welcome Year 11 students to the start of their Sixth Form journey. We had a fantastic day that saw an excellent group of students discover what our Sixth Form has to offer.

 

The day consisted of team building activities and how to effectively communicate, important skills when embarking on the next stages of further education! In addition, the students had the opportunity to meet with the Sixth Form staff body to discuss enrolment into our highly successful Sixth Form come September. We have many students who are highly ambitious in their future plans, and cannot wait to support them in these next steps.

 

The day was rounded off with a BBQ on our recently refurbished outside decking area, where students had the opportunity to enjoy the sun and a burger whilst reflecting on the facilities and support we have on offer at Holderness Academy Sixth Form.
